About us
At Amazon Tourism, we are an agency dedicated to creating authentic experiences in the heart of the Colombian rainforest. We were founded with the mission of connecting travelers with the natural and cultural richness of the Amazon, promoting responsible tourism that respects and protects this unique ecosystem.
Although we have only been operating as a tour operator for a year, we work closely with local service providers and guides who have over 15 years of combined experience, guaranteeing safe, well-organized tours deeply connected to the region. Our commitment is to offer adventures that not only thrill but also raise environmental awareness and contribute to the well-being of indigenous and riverside communities.
Travelling through the Amazon is a transformative experience
That's why we design private, personalized tours tailored to each traveler: from jungle treks and birdwatching to cultural tours, river navigation, and community immersion experiences. Every activity is designed to let you experience the Amazon in a respectful, sustainable, and memorable way.

A good traveler:
Take care by enjoying yourself, save by not wasting, reuse and leave no trace.
Say "No" to single-use plastic, use the reusable cups available, only use straws when strictly necessary.
Save energy and water, because caring for natural resources is essential. Avoid food waste, enjoy our cuisine, and have seconds without wasting any.
Do not leave trash at excursion sites; return it to its place of origin.
Buy from our communities, and support local businesses.
Enjoy observing the wildlife and flora, do not feed the animals, and avoid direct contact with them.
Reuse towels and sheets whenever possible; this will prevent the use of water, energy, gas, and/or chemicals.
Take care of nature like you take care of your home.
